    Our Core Values

    At Credence Mat BJJ Academy, we are more than just a gym. Our community is built on mutual respect, continuous learning, and safety.

    1. Respect Everyone

    Treat all members equally regardless of rank, age, or background.

    • Address instructors and teammates respectfully.
    • Help beginners feel welcome.
    • Avoid discriminatory language and behavior.

    2. Safety First

    Your safety and your partner's safety are always top priority.

    • Tap early and stop immediately when your partner taps.
    • Match intensity to your partner's level.
    • Do not train while sick or injured.

    3. Hygiene Standards

    Good hygiene protects everyone on the mat.

    • Wear clean gear and trim nails.
    • No shoes on the mat.
    • Cover cuts and skin issues before training.

    Consequences

    Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or expulsion.

    • Verbal warning from instructors or management
    • Written warning and follow-up meeting
    • Temporary suspension from training
    • Permanent expulsion for serious violations

    If you witness behavior violating these guidelines, report it immediately.
